I am including here a list of various motels and hotels in the area. Please note, I have not organised these by price neither are these phone numbers with English speakers. I am sorry I cannot offer you a better way of booking accomodation. Like other regions in Korea, if you want to book please have a Korean do this for you. As a note, although I know most people are not like me, when I travel by my self I usually stay at Jim jil bangs (찜질방). You can shower, bath, get clean and sleep at these places all for under 10,000 won.

How to get there
Jecheon is located perfectly in the middle of the peninsular in the Chungcheongbukdo region. It takes only two hours 
to get to Jecheon by bus. From Seoul the bus towards Jecheon from Dong Seoul Terminal (06:30 – 21:00, departs every 30min / travel time 2 hour) or Seoul Express Bus Terminal (06:30 – 21:00, departs every 40min / travel time 2hr 10min).
Before I publish details I do want to offer and apology – I do understand that anywhere outside of Seoul almost always do not get a mention. I live in Seoul and I do not know how to get to Jecheon from other regions. Please, if you do live outside of Seoul and read this post, please reply with details if you know them.
Bus
Get onto line number 3 or 7 and travel to the Express Bus Terminal in Kangnam.
This terminal is very confusing so I suggest leaving a lot of time. There are three ‘line’s in this terminal. Basically that means there are 3 different locations to buy tickets. Each of these ‘lines’ services a different part of the country. You can buy tickets for Jecheon (제천) at the Kyeong bu 경부 line. Look carefully at the ticket, they may have only left you 10 minutes to find the number of the park where your bus leaves from.
Train
A train also leaves from Cheongyangni Station line 1. The new station has just been built there so it is a little complicated. Apparently trains only go to Jecheon 4 times a day and at night but they are direct and the route there is stunning. When I went there I was lucky enough to arrive with a train on the tracks. I asked one of the nice helpful guys in hats standing around who ushered me directly to the tracks. When I was on the train I was able to pay for a ticket. In terms of buying the tickets from the ticket office I have no idea how to do this. I find though that in Korea, all you have to do is tell some one the place and they will show you how to get tickets. Please remember, that many place names in Korea are similar so please try and use Hanguel – 제 천
You can also leave from Seoul Station although that is not recommended because you will have to transfer.
